The dogs shown below are courtesy listings for private rescuers or for individuals who need to re-home their own pets. Since Angels Bark Dog Rescue has not evaluated the Courtesy Dogs, we can offer no opinion regarding temperament, health or other salient issues; and all information has been provided by the program participants. As a Courtesy Listing, we ask that you directly contact the individual who is listed at the bottom of each bio. Since people sometimes forget to notify us, some of these dogs may already be adopted.
ZOLA-Female Labrador mix, just over 1-year old is looking for a wonderful home
She is currently located in Los Angeles. Our best guess is that she is a Labrador mixed. She was born on 11/28/2020, weighs
about 50 pounds, is spayed and up-to date on all her vaccinations. Zola is a young and active dog that loves going
for walks, but is also pretty calm and well-behaved in the house. She has excellent leash manners - doesn’t pull and walks by
her person nicely. She can be shy when meeting new people but has not shown any aggression.
Zola lived in a home with children (ages 8-12) and has been wonderful with them. She is housebroken and knows how to
use a doggie door. Zola is well-mannered, not destructive when left alone and does not try to jump fences. She also has no resource-guarding problem with food and/or toys. Zola does OK during car rides and vet exams, but can be a little nervous.
Zola is a very smart and protective dog, so she will need an owner who can set boundaries from the beginning. She would
benefit from some obedience and crate-training with her future owner. She lived in a home with a cat and did well with it.
Does OK with large-sized dogs; but not for home with small dogs.
