Angels Bark Dog Rescue is happy to adopt dogs out-of-state. We realize that a lot of great homes are found all across the U.S.. While some of our dogs are available for out-of-state adoption, some are not. That decision is made based on the dog’s age, size, general health condition, and behavior.The only out-of-state transportation we use is by airline flight, unless the adopter decides to come to Los Angeles and drive home with the dog.
We do not adopt out-of-state if
– Dogs that have medical or behavioral issues
– Small dogs, who can be terrified by the noise in the cargo compartment of a jet airliner
– Puppies under 6 months of age or dogs older than 8 years of age
Before you fill out the application, please check with the rescue to confirm that the dog you are interested is available for out-of-state adoption
