Foster to Adopt Application

It can be a big decision to adopt a dog, and one that is made a little bit easier when you choose to participate in a foster to adopt program! Fostering to adopt gives you the opportunity to have the dog you are interested in adopting, in your home for a trial period of two weeks. Making it a little bit easier to decide whether you would like to proceed with adopting them.

If matched with a dog, you will be asked to sign the FAP contract when you pick him/her up. The adoption fee is due at this time, and payable by either check or cash. For an adult dog (over 6-months old) this will be $400; and $650 for puppies 6-months and younger.

Information provided within this application will remain confidential and be used only as part of the ADBR FAP screening process. This application is NOT a commitment to foster. These questions are designed to assist ABDR with matching a potential foster home with a suitable dog for their living situation and lifestyles.

How it works...

First, please confirm the dog of interest is available by emailing ABDR at angelsbarkdogrescue@gmail.com.

Keep in mind that not all dogs are available for the Foster to Adopt Program (FAP). If the dog you are interested in is available, after confirming with ABDR, you can proceed on with filling out and submitting the application below. After receiving your application, we will then schedule a brief call to go over your responses. Eligibility in FAP is at the discretion of ABDR.
